I can't recommend Dr. Veronica Nuzzolo highly enough if you're facing a risk of recidivism evaluation ordered by the Massachusetts RMV after an OUI or other offense. She was extremely professional, yet remarkably down to earth and polite from the very first contact. She was willing to help right away and made the whole process feel much less intimidating than I expected.

My best advice to anyone hiring her: come prepared to be completely upfront. Be ready to peel the onion—share the full story of your incident, what led up to it, and everything you've done since to better yourself and make sure it never happens again. This isn't the time to try to present yourself as a perfect angel; she wants the real picture, good and bad. Oddly enough, some of the not-so-great stuff, when you show how you've genuinely addressed it, can actually help your case for getting your license back. Don't overdo it trying to convince her you're a goody-two-shoes. Just be real.

Dr. Nuzzolo herself is refreshingly upfront and honest. She brings a kind of motherly tough love—she'll give you the straight "what-ifs," like you may still have to go to the appeal board, or the RMV might require an interlock regardless because that's just how the RMV operates. It wasn't sugar-coated, but I appreciated that so much. It set realistic expectations.

On top of all that, she's incredibly efficient. She was very accommodating when scheduling my appointment, and the turnaround on her report was even quicker than the time window she originally gave me. That was a huge relief.

In short, don't be afraid. Dr. Veronica Nuzzolo is the professional to see if you want to get back on the road.
